Prove me wrong

New Hampshire
I'm a sheet ghost for Halloween this year because the 4-year-old is operating smoothly in her lane and therefore dictates absolutely everything Halloween-oriented in this house during the brief window where she is both very cute and the only child able to talk

I'm sorry, you told him you're pursuing his execution and then let him go home with an ankle monitor? Apparently between Gilley's bail proceeding and his flight to Italy, Texas voters approved a ballot initiative to make it easier to deny bail. Terribly unfortunate timing
A Texas man accused of killing his pregnant wife cut off his ankle monitor, hopped on a bicycle, and boarded a private jet to Italy before his murder trial — and now the Italian government is dictating the terms of his return. Italy granted Lee Gilley's extradition only after U.S. prosecutors agreed to drop the capital murder charge tied to the death of his unborn child. No death penalty. No life without parole. The reduced first-degree murder charge carries 5 to 99 years if convicted. Gilley's defense attorney says an appeal is likely, meaning the man accused of murdering Christa Bauer Gilley could remain overseas even longer. Authorities believe he had help fleeing the country. I feel like this clip is proof that you can just come up with inexplicable and bizarre human mating practices at random and somehow they're always going to be more humane than modern dating
I assume the goal of this video is to make Amish culture seem foolish, given this girl’s slight speech impediment and awkward mannerisms, but what exactly is the problem here? There’s no promiscuity or baby killing or digital prostitution; I’m supposed to think that’s bad?

When most of us buy driver-assist tech I think we're mostly hoping to avoid *causing* accidents But this is probably more important, actually. Getting rear-ended can give you a brain or spinal injury. Getting T-boned can kill you. The car moves a few feet and you walk away
I was in an accident.. got rear ended buy a large truck while I was sitting at a light in my Model Y. He was going 50mph. My car tried to get out of the way on its own…. it drove forward and turned to avoid.. he was just going too fast. My Y saved my ass buy avoiding the car in front so we didnt have a double impact and reduced the impact by moving forwa. I hade zero injuries and walked away. I will be replacing the car with another Tesla. The car actively tried to save me and reduced the impact to my body. Just awesome…

Didn't sign up for any of this, just saw a kid with a gun shooting the locks off the door to the school where his own two little girls were. Kid had a shotgun and went after the special needs children

The Houston dumpster baby case happened in 2024 Meanwhile a dead newborn baby girl was found in a trash facility in New York two days ago, but because that can't support an abortion narrative we're barely going to hear a word about it
y'all ban abortion and give mothers fuck all in terms of support, then act surprised when shit like this happens

Nearly 100% of women who want an abortion and can't get one for whatever reason don't simply throw the baby in the trash because they're not homicidal sociopaths Killing a baby isn't an understandable plan B, what is wrong with you people

"Why can women not simply exist in the world in the bodies God gave them?" she asks herself mournfully as she pulls these off the rack
Argued with a woman who said Shane Gillis’s joke was offensive because “women have never been allowed to just exist in their bodies. Ever.”
My sister in Christ, what does this even mean? Can someone who speaks woman translate this into English for me

Not gonna lie man, some days are hard. Today I'm trying to get things actually clean rather than pretend clean because the in-laws will be here by themselves, and I've got two kids each independently making messes that take 10x longer to clean than they do to create

Sometimes it really is like you've got chaos elves, literal "turn around for five seconds and the tool you just had is gone" phenomena one after another all day. What you're doing is automatically the most interesting thing to them so the sabotage is organic and innocent

We're in the age of AI; inmates should be living in a dystopian YA novel at this point. Put Palantir on it. Bring in Anduril If you rape somebody in prison your file should have it clipped, logged and timestamped along with the serial number of the PeaceBot™ that castrated you
Something I’ve always wondered Is there really nothing that can be done about the prison rape situation? Like seriously it is kinda ridiculous that prison is a super rape warehouse.

Genuinely don't understand how any of this is remotely controversial Ideally prison is a place where you have zero privacy and close to zero autonomy except where it serves to make you a better person, but your physical safety is in no question whatsoever
