The Builders program @solanaturbine exceeded all my expectations. I got what I was looking for in learning and improving my tech skills. But I didn't expect to learn how to put together a pitch deck and think about the business side. At the end of the day, we gotta make money.
#DePIN on @solana is heating up- and we are here for it. @00shoe killed it with this one- and we will keep the DePIN rolling in September with a special focused program for hardware experts who want to build more solutions like this on @solana. @helium @Hivemapper @SolanaFndn

RoboticPayments — DePIN Drone Delivery PoC 🚁 Buyer locks SOL in escrow → Drone arrives → RPi4 automatically signs the Proof of Delivery TX → SOL released on-chain. Zero manual payment step. The @solanaturbine DePIN Cohort Q4 2025 with @00shoe & @alolal0 sparked the idea — I took it further: real Pixhawk flight controller, MAVLink telemetry, GPS-verified on-chain payment. From concept to working hardware PoC. This is the Indoor Test — GPS fix replaced by "Drone arrived" demo button. Outdoor Test with real GPS fix coming next. 🔗 Cohort repo: github.com/solana-turbin3/dr… 🔗 My PoC: github.com/kevkaseeker-sourc… On-chain Proof: 🔗 Proof of Escrow: explorer.solana.com/tx/qK2fK… 🔗 Proof of Delivery: explorer.solana.com/tx/3wpVe… Hardware: Raspberry Pi 4 · Pixhawk · M8N GPS · Waveshare SIM7600X 4G HAT · @Staex_io IoT SIM inside the drone prototype

If you’re serious about Rust, you need a proper learning + tooling stack, not just tutorials. Here’s a clean Rust roadmap with topics + resources 👇 ⸻ 1. Core Language Foundations Topics •Ownership, borrowing, lifetimes •Pattern matching •Enums & algebraic data types •Traits & generics •Error handling (Result, Option) Resources •The Rust Programming Language (aka The Book) •Rustlings •Rust by Example ⸻ 2. Memory & Performance (Rust’s superpower) Topics •Stack vs heap •Move semantics •Zero-cost abstractions •Smart pointers (Box, Rc, Arc) •Interior mutability (RefCell, Mutex) Resources •Rustonomicon •“Learning Rust With Entirely Too Many Linked Lists” •Jon Gjengset’s YouTube (must-watch) ⸻ 3. Concurrency & Async Rust Topics •Threads & channels •Send / Sync •Async/await •Executors & runtimes •Pin, futures, task scheduling Resources •Tokio docs •Async Book (rust-lang) •Jon Gjengset async deep dives ⸻ 4. Tooling You Must Use Topics •Cargo (workspaces, features) •Clippy & rustfmt •rust-analyzer •Profiling & benchmarking Resources •Cargo Book •criterion for benchmarks •perf, flamegraph ⸻ 5. Systems Programming Topics •File I/O •Networking •Memory-mapped files •OS interaction •Unsafe Rust (when and why) Resources •std::fs, std::net docs •Rust for Rustaceans (book) •OSDev Wiki (concepts) ⸻ 6. Backend & Distributed Systems with Rust Topics •HTTP servers •gRPC •Serialization (serde) •Databases & drivers •Backpressure & async IO Resources •Axum / Actix •Tonic (gRPC) •Serde docs •Postgres + SQLx ⸻ 7. Testing & Reliability Topics •Unit vs integration tests •Property-based testing •Fuzzing •Deterministic tests Resources •proptest •cargo-fuzz •Rust test book ⸻ 8. Real-World Rust Codebases (Study These) Projects •Tokio •Ripgrep •Servo •Wasmtime •Rust compiler itself ⸻ 9. Advanced Rust (Where Most Quit) Topics •Lifetimes in APIs •Trait objects vs generics •GATs •HRTBs •Zero-sized types & typestate Resources •Rust RFCs •“Rust API Guidelines” •Compiler error messages (seriously) ⸻ 10. Build in Public (This Is Non-Optional) Actions •Write small crates •Rebuild simple tools in Rust •Blog about borrow-checker pain •Share benchmarks & learnings ⸻ The Rule Rust rewards depth, not speed. If you rush, you’ll bounce off the borrow checker. If you persist, you’ll think differently about software forever. Pick one domain (backend, systems, blockchain, infra) and go deep with Rust there. That’s how learning Rust actually compounds.
If you’re serious about crypto, you have to use THESE tools (Complete research stack 👇) → Dashboards Dune DeFiLlama Artemis → Explorers Etherscan Basescan Solscan → Wallet tracking Arkham DeBank Zerion → DEX tools Dexscreener GeckoTerminal → Learning Binance academy Messari Articles Dune tutorials

Since it seems like literally nobody knew that you could just send transactions directly to the TPU of the leader, I made this leader list to show you the upcoming leaders IP and TPU port. You're welcome. leaderlist.vercel.app/

You literally can actually send transactions direct to the TPU, had no idea, infact I didn't quite believe the timing so I had GPT 5.2 and Opus 4.5 confirm it. @jacobvcreech RPC's are for reading, TPU is for writing. Is this a new thing, is this something that Solana has always had? Why wouldn't everyone just do this? nitter.siddz.com/jacobvcreech/status/20… github.com/stevesarmiento/pi…

This is the latest white paper on the DePIN drone delivery system --> drive.google.com/drive/folde… Two months have passed since I published the first version of the white paper. In the meantime, I have met many new people. Many thanks to @SuperteamDE and @solanaturbine -- especially to @pattiruss_ and @zCase_ -- for introducing me to the web3 community of the @w3_hub and Berlin. And a big thank you to @japarjam for letting me be part of the DePIN-Cohort. The next goal is the @colosseum hackathon which I’ll be joining together with @00shoe

This is the power of YOLO, trained on a laptop for ~1 hour, with a Kaggle dataset. Oh, and just ~100 lines of Python. I can make a startup on this and it took me literally a couple of hours.

Open source fucked me over. A @SuperteamIN member copied my @colosseum submission line by line, won a @SuperteamEarn grant for it, and I got nothing, not even credits. Read this thread, see how this faker got it all and what he did when I confronted him. cc: @solana 1/8

There's no music without artists. But in today's industry, they're locked out of the economy they create. That ends now, with Artist Coins on @solana. Introducing Audius v1.0: the Open Audio Protocol, and the realization of our 2020 whitepaper 🧵

Incredible that we can launch crypto companies in the US without feeling extreme uncertainty about whether it's criminal. This was a huge part of my reluctance initially to start a crypto company. This is huge for innovation 🇺🇸🎆 Congrats to @doublezero!

For early morning class, it takes a bit for my brain to get moving. But within a few minutes of starting I heard the word robots, and I was good to go 😃
Never messing around- tacking problems that nobody else will try- exploring FEARLESSLY. And doing it together- with a close knit team. And per usual, blowing away top ecosystem experts when they come and participate with us. This is the TURBINE Tribe. The @solana way

The L1 premium has finally been isolated under laboratory conditions—behold!
Movement is finally becoming an L1, The People’s Chain. Sub-second finality. Validators. Native $MOVE staking. Move 2 support. Why? Movement started as an Avalanche subnet, then pivoted to becoming an Ethereum L2 that would use Tendermint Consensus, Celestia for DA, and of course the MoveVM for execution. Although an ambitious goal, the Frankenstein thesis just didn’t make sense for us. The elephant in the room is that Movement never missed an opportunity to ride a meta. However, there is a fine line between strategic pivoting and constant redirection…and we strayed towards the latter. Constantly chasing narratives is just admission that you don’t have your own. When we diligently surveyed our builders and community, we realized that the original architecture/framework was not tenable for what we have set out to accomplish. We are no longer chasing “alignment”, we are pursuing the optimal Move builder and user experience. The Monza network upgrade was a huge milestone and turning point for Movement’s chain performance, but it's not enough. We need a framework that can support next generation perp dexes, RWA’s, global-scale DePin, wagerFi, AI agents, casual gaming, and use cases that remain to be seen. Move 2 first: Move 2 makes the Move advantage with advanced features like enum types and function values. Randomness will also finally be ready. No bullshit staking: When staking goes live, locked tokens can’t be staked. Unlocked tokens only. No team members or investors to jeet locked token rewards on your head. Seamless migration: So what do you have to do if you’re a Mover? Nothing. We are weeks away and will provide more details as we get closer. Wait a minute, I thought you were an L1 this whole time? Contrary to popular belief (looking at you @hosseeb), we never have been. There was a CT verbal fist fight between @toghrulmaharram and our team about how we are a sidechain, and not truly an L2….which is technically correct. So that's probably what you remember. L1 Testnet soon. Movement 2.0 is here. Gmove to the believers.
