There's an officials shortage, so if they come down hard in the officials, they fear kore might leave. If you ipset coaches, who cares, there are always young guys or dads looking to prove themselves.

I officiated in PA before moving here but due to work never get back to it. I used to go to a bunch of games and I was just programmed to watch offiicials. Positioning. Hustle. Signals. Flags. Etc. I wasn’t exactly keen on what I saw then - it was pretty bad.

We had an opponent rip one of our players helmets off right in front of a ref=no flag. Our cadence kept getting the opponent to jump offsides="the next time they jump we're calling it on you"

AZHSFB officiating has been awful and inconsistent this season. I’ve always taught my players to stay disciplined and not worry about officials, but this year has been frustrating. I’ve contacted AIA multiple times with no response. Coaches are held accountable and expected to improve. Why not officials?
