Gastroenterology is a specialty shaped by constant interpretation.
Screening and surveillance recommendations continue to evolve. Research in the microbiome, liver disease, inflammatory bowel disease, GI oncology, and functional disorders is advancing rapidly, while new therapeutics and technologies are changing both chronic disease management and procedural care.
At the same time, many of the most important questions in GI still rely on clinical judgment: when to scope, how to approach symptoms that don’t fit neatly into guidelines, and how to apply emerging evidence in real-world practice.
The most valuable conversations in gastroenterology happen between colleagues: comparing approaches to difficult cases, debating procedural decisions, and sharing practical experience with evolving treatments.
Today, we’re excited to launch the Gastroenterology community on Roon with founding physicians
