ALT Pharmacological treatment of MASLD comorbidities contributes to polypharmacy with its associated risk of drug–drug interactions, non-compliance, and additive risks of side effects. This study analysed TARGET-NASH real-world data to demonstrate a striking degree of polypharmacy and differences based on sex, practice setting, and insurance status as well as disease severity were identified.
