MASLD has a critical unmet need for better pharmacotherapy, but lifestyle intervention will remain the cornerstone of treatment. It takes a team based multidisciplinary approach!
@UNCLiverCenter we are fortunate to have a nutritionist, behavioral therapist, and a clinical pharmacist in our MASLD clinic. For those who don't, there are good resources available online.
