The entire Democratic Party owes a massive debt of gratitude to Zohran Mamdani.
Before his rapid rise, the party was largely rudderless, suffering from a loss of direction, momentum, and self-confidence. By drifting away from the working class, the party naturally saw voters walk away in response.
Mamdani single-handedly corrected the course, bringing vital energy, ideological clarity, and an authentic connection back to the very people who had been left behind.
Without his influence, the party’s current standing would look very different.

Anyone who understands the stakes of this election knows that this endorsement is a complete betrayal of Michigan, of voters, and of everything Congresswoman Stevens claims to stand for. And it’s particularly disgusting that she would use Black Michiganders and a space of worship as props in her efforts to seek attention.
If you truly care about Black communities, women, immigrants, workers' rights, or democracy — you could never stand with a Trump acolyte like Mike Rogers. Haley Stevens has shown her true colors today.

More than happy to meet with you for coffee in person. I engage with everyone, that’s why our neighbors support the work I do. Engaging with opposing views is what we should do, you should try it some time.
Democracy died in the 40th Ward this year is what I’m hearing & Alderman Vasquez seems to be fine with it.
What he aims to do like many of the activists getting paid as alderman do is surround themselves with more ppl who think just like them, opposing views not welcome.

Zohran Mamdani on Abdul El-Sayed: “I think he’s doing a very good job in the way that he’s navigating this race. A race of that magnitude is difficult enough as it is. To have to contend with blatantly racist attacks on a regular basis and the silence of so many around him in the face of that, that is immensely difficult. When we are speaking about millions of dollars being spent trafficking in that racism, it becomes incredibly difficult to both respond to it and continue to move forward and it’s a challenge I think he’s rising to admirably”
