I built this but.... not sure I’d use it. I wanted a faster way to make AI write exactly how I want. It works, but still unsure about the idea.

OpenAI is adding invisible watermarks to ChatGPT text in the EU. Funny timing. The visible watermark has been there for years: the writing itself +1 billion of people use ChatGPT every week, and the same cadence, phrasing and personality keep showing up everywhere. I’ve been building a personality picker for AI. Pick Victor Hugo, Camus, De Gaulle, Belmondo... Download the .md, give it to your AI, then call @VictorHugo whenever you want Your AI can finally sound like someone. Coming very soon. DM for early access.
We're expanding our approach to content provenance to include text in response to EU regulatory requirements, while recognizing the significant limitations of current text watermarking technology. Our tools already help verify whether an image or audio file was created with our models. This work builds on those efforts to help people better understand when content may have been generated or edited with an OpenAI model. In the EU, we’ll start watermarking eligible text from ChatGPT and Codex over the coming weeks to comply with the EU AI Act. Customers using our API can turn on text watermarking for select models worldwide today.

What's stopping you from creating a brand incarnated by Zidane's personality?

1.2 billion people use ChatGPT every week. And somehow, they’re all starting to sound the same. The issue is you can spot ChatGPT writing from 300 km away. That’s a problem. So I built a personality picker for AI. Choose Victor Hugo, Camus, De Gaulle, Belmondo... Starting with France, USA coming soon. 🇫🇷🇺🇸 Download the .md, give it to your AI, then call the personality whenever you want with "@ VictorHugo" in your own chats. You can download several and switch depending on what you're writing. Coming soon. DM for early access.

Can you fix that forever please @OpenAI Extremely frustrating to write big blog of text that get instantly deleted for no reason whatsoever!

"to push the frontier of safe, capable, and open LLMs."
16
"the frontier" ???? what an audacity to ever use those words
Excited to share that I have joined @MistralAI, where I will be building a team in Montreal and across Canada to push the frontier of safe, capable, and open LLMs. Mistral has played, and will continue to play, an important role in keeping frontier AI open and advancing it safely. I deeply believe in Mistral's mission, and since joining, that conviction has only grown after seeing firsthand the ambition and commitment of the people here. A big part of my role will also be building strong bridges between Mistral and @McGillU, @Mila_Quebec, and the broader Montreal and Canadian AI ecosystem. And we are hiring! Across levels and across the LLM stack. If you are excited about pushing the frontier, reach out.

Taking shape 👀 This is where Astra orchestrating Luna gets really useful Instead of embedding an LLM inside the app, Astra can have Luna generate tons of variations upfront: warmer, sharper, more casual, closer to this style or that one, at different intensity levels, etc. So I can instantly customize the text by switching between those pre-generated variations
ChatGPT’s tone of voice is good — but it’s basically the same voice for everyone and the customization options are still pretty limited. so over time, everyone starts recognizing the same “AI writing” or “AI slop” patterns... and I end up manually removing em dashes and adding small imperfections just to make the output sound "more human" so I’m building a simple interface for myself where I can create my perfect tone of voice without having to write a giant system prompt. I can create as many writing styles as I want, fine-tune exactly how each one should sound, then download a single Markdown file. From that file, my AI agent can automatically create a dedicated skill for each tone of voice, so I can reuse them anywhere, consistently. would you use it?

If you're choosing between a discount and a free gift for BFCM... I made a free calculator to compare the costs. Try it with your own numbers. bfcm.getglaciel.com/?utm_sou…

Just another day in Europe Are you ready for the abundance... of laws and regulations?
Today we proposed the EU KIDS Act. No social media under the age of 13. No personal accounts under the age of 15. That’s our recommendation. As European Commission President, @vonderleyen said: “The question is not whether kids should have access to social media. The question is whether social media platforms should have access to our children.”

"Davantage de compute ne garantit pas des modèles proportionnellement plus intelligents, mais imaginez les prochains entraînements si cette capacité se matérialise" si, les scaling laws ne montrent pas de ralentissement à priori, donc oui plus de compute = plus d'intelligence

Oh, really? 10k person arrested. Nothing to worry about probably, nevermind. They will regulate ALL providers over time, let's not dream too much. There is GOOD regulation that benefits people in Europe and there is BAD regulation that only gives governments more control.

Yeah then enjoy your AI snitching in your face AI labs are asking to regulate the release of the new models for obvious security risk (bio hacking, cyber attacks etc..) They are responding with DIFFERENT regulations that will do NOTHING to mitigate those risks, dawg.

Communism’s fatal flaw may have been computational. A handful of brains tried to coordinate millions of others. Capitalism distributed the search: millions of people experimenting in parallel. AI improves the central brain, but doesn’t solve incentives, values or the unknown.
