Old days you got 50 pts every win, 5 pts for yr oppnt's each W, divided that by the # of gmes you played...straight forward algorithm! Now it's some secret formula nobody knows. Ive been told "It's too complicated for us (Coaches) to undrstand"..I taught Mth for 30 Yr's..Test me!
I was under the impression most people wanted this.
But I'll be honest--
Never paid attention to MaxPrep rankings.
Now that I have--
*Winning/beating whoever is on your schedule needs to count way way more.
*Strength of schedule needs to count way way less.
