Most useful financial questions are joins.
Does this counterparty appear on that sanctions list? Which of our policyholders are also covered under a reinsurer's treaty? Where do two desks' positions overlap before either one discloses its book?
Each of these needs two datasets that their owners cannot share. Today the answer is a trusted intermediary, a data room, or no answer at all.
Cubane executes relational queries over encrypted data. Both tables stay sealed. The join runs inside the execution layer, matching rows are identified without being revealed, and the only output is the result each party is entitled to see. No plaintext reaches the counterparty, the operator, or the chain.
The clip above is that primitive: two sealed tables, one join, one verified result.
This is what we mean by encrypted relational execution. It lets regulated institutions compute together on-chain without giving up the confidentiality their obligations require.
Testnet is coming. If your team has a join, it cannot run today, we would like to hear what it is.
