It comes with the omarchy-tv plugin, so your Omarchy PC can push themes and share its screen to the TV. Based on tv-vibehack by @gathint. Big Omarchy QA News: The Headline: * Omarchy QA will start running against nightly every day. Still some huge hurdles to figure out, but that is the fun stuff. The Meat: Omarchy QA is going slower than I hoped for, but its getting into place. This is my second fully running agent test harness where they decide what is good. * A nice running dashboard with cancellable states * Jobs, suites, servers: have all the possible states and transitions you would expect from build servers. This part was the most surprising as it is really in depth how much effort you have to spend thinking about every possibility * suite states, live updating website that ... runs fast? Yes I did something crazy... I made a cache, i know, actual crime... ** I even have an idea to make this load instant for every single user, and make updating cache contents LIGHTNING fast... *** Fun side note. WTF ARE YOU DOING EVERYONE, WEBSITES ARE FUN TO MAKE FAST AND YOU ALL ARE MAKING HORESHIT SITES... STOP. * ability to follow live running jobs and cancel them The sad part is I have had no time to get the actual custom harness running fast, which is ok, but its hard. Now, starting today, I am going to be hooking up nightly builds and actually running this against production! Will think about how to make this a public site, but for now, its private :(

Right now it: * Learns your habits * Apps + every Omarchy action in one search * Aliases & favorites * Keyboard-first * Follows your Omarchy theme live, opens in ~40ms repo: github.com/typecraft-dev/oma…

Unpopular opinion: In 5 years, we'll need more software engineers than we do today. Not fewer. Everyone is calculating how many developers AI can replace. If a team of 3 can now do the work of 10, surely the other 7 are out of a job? I think that completely misses what's about to happen. For decades, the biggest constraint on software wasn't the lack of problems worth solving. It was the cost of solving them. Millions of businesses still run on spreadsheets, emails, WhatsApp messages, and outdated software. Not because they're happy with it, but because spending $200,000 on a custom system never made financial sense. Now imagine that same system costs $20,000. Suddenly, millions of businesses that couldn't afford software development become potential customers. Projects that were never viable become viable. Companies that already build software can afford to do ten times more. And here's the part people underestimate: the cheaper software becomes, the more reasons we'll find to build it. Of course, some jobs will disappear. Certain tasks that once required entire teams will be handled by a single engineer. But assuming the amount of software the world needs is fixed is a pretty strange assumption, especially in an industry where we've barely scratched the surface of what can be automated. I could be wrong, but I think we're heading toward an explosion in software demand, not the death of software engineering. We're confusing the declining cost of writing code with the declining demand for software engineers. They're not the same thing.
