What if I told you that AI levels the playing field for people who didn’t receive a proper education? That having innate curiosity & ChatGPT will enable many, many victims of our country’s woeful education system to learn more than we offer them?

99% of game devs are using AI, but barely anyone admits it publicly. The demand for AI coding tools tells a very different story from the anti-AI outrage on social media. Everyone uses it. Nobody wants to admit it.

You feel sorry for the FGC because some people were overly positive and optimistic about an "Arc Sys Marvel Game" and understand that first iterations of FGs are rarely its best version? THOSE are the people you think are the most annoying part of the FGC? I'm about as immersed in the discourse as someone can be (nonstop, every day, since launch) and I don't see any of that stuff. In addition to the typical FGC stuff, I see "I don't like this" or "I hope they fix this" or "this character is busted" or "ranked needs an overhaul" or "input reader is whack" or even "amazing character designs" or whatever... and I agree with like 99% of it. I think we all have some issues with Tokon... it's not perfect, it has a ways to go. I think we can agree on that. You know why I feel sorry for the FGC? I feel sorry for the FGC cause of people that constantly make performance art out of hating on the something and then acting like they care. All they do is bring more negativity to the space. Pure "Don't forget about me!" behavior. That's what I see EVERY day (besides, of course, people out here trying to find new tech, combos, post funny interactions, cool "did you know" stuff, etc). These people could literally do anything else... but instead, make sure to carve out time to tell you how bad they feel Tokon is doing, or how many more players My Little Pony Adventure has on Steam. Make a new combo, "Game's dead". Post a piece of tech, "Who cares, can't play on PC." They aren't content not liking a thing. They want to make sure no one likes it. They want to get likes to show their hate is "approved". A person doesn't have to like Tokon. It's not required, obviously... but what is there to gain about spewing constant negativity? *+3 Likes* "Edge Feeling Obtained" Even worse are the people that act like they "aren't involved" in perpetuating it when they are clearly doing it on purpose. It's super transparent, and any level-headed person can see right through it. For a new player, this is one of the worst times to get into the FGC because of people that make it a den of negativity, factions, and clickbait. Which is sad... because content wise, it's probably the absolute best time to get in the FGC (in terms of sheer choice, learning tools, resources, tournaments, etc). I feel sorry for the FGC and the "FGC members that may never be" because of it. It's not just a Tokon thing, but Tokon seems to bring it out of people. Marvel Fandom isn't the problem. If anything, Marvel Fandom is what helped the game sell more out of the gates than it normally would have given the circumstances with Sony, PC, and limited availability. That's an absolute positive thing for anyone that truly hopes Tokon lasts a long time. PlayStation glazers are not the problem. In fact, as someone that frequently sees Tokon content in their feed, seems like 95% of people were talking mad shit about Sony for DRM tanking the PC launch, causing instability issues, desynchs, lack of reach (less countries available to purchase it). Not sure I ever saw a PlayStation glazer. I saw you made a post about not seeing Tokon content for a month. I see it every day. Here, on YT, on discord. That's because I'm involved in it. I don't want a medal (the algo is doing the work), but I'm pretty sure you probably see Avatar related stuff in your feed. I don't see any. Probably a reason for that. I'm also not out here saying "Damn, I haven't seen any Avatar content in a minute. What happened to all that Avatar vs Tokon stuff?" or whatever. Cause, A) I know how it works. B), Even if I hadn't seen any Avatar stuff, what is there to gain out of trying to start a fire with a comment like that? You know what kinda work it's going to do: 20k likes. Mission accomplished. We live in a world controlled by algorithms. You get back what you put into it. Really though, the most annoying part of the FGC, especially concerning Tokon, is the negativity farmers. That's it. Full stop. People don't need to interact with Tokon. There are plenty of other awesome games for people to play that might be right up their alley. If it's not for you, that's cool. No joke. It's 100% cool that a person plays a game that speaks to them and their friends, cause in the end, that's what it's all about. ... but people also don't need to be "that dude" when Tokon stuff comes up (or doesn't).
