The visit was a great opportunity to see those capabilities first-hand.
Whether it’s moving troops and vehicles, landing craft, medical facilities and embarked forces, her versality, and the skill of her crew, is what makes her such a valuable asset to the @RoyalNavy

Yesterday I had the pleasure of visiting @RFAMountsBay.
The Royal Fleet Auxiliary is essential to everything the @RoyalNavy does.
Its people sustain our ships, move equipment, support operations and enable the Fleet to remain at sea.

Last week Minister for Veterans & People Mr Calvin Bailey MBE MP met members of our crew. #MightyMounts
@RFAHeadquarters @RoyalNavy
Had the most amazing day on RFA Mounts Bay last week. The RFA is made up of people from every corner of the UK, and that was clear across the ship.
I asked the sailors, “Tell me your story”, and was delighted when this lad said, “I’m from East London.” From Stratford, serving in the RFA, and loving it. 🇬🇧
