I’ve loved horse racing for almost 40 years. I’m having conversations, both directly and through legal channels, with The Jockey Club, Breeders’ Cup, HISA, and Keeneland. This is all very FIXABLE!!!!! I WANT TO BE PART OF THE SOLUTION!!!!! They can either welcome me into the decision-making process and allow me to help shape the FUTURE of this sport, or they can fight me every step of the way as the industry continues to free fall. Four months ago, The Jockey Club invited me to become a member. I declined, but told them I would only accept the role of Jockey Club Chairman and Steward. They declined my offer. I am not going away!!!!! I am confident I represent 90% of people who want immediate, meaningful and impactful change!!!!! If I MUST, I WILL challenge them legally with an UNLIMITED budget. I am on a mission to help the people who love this sport, make this industry their livelihood including owners, trainers, breeders, horseplayers, and fans and to help secure the future of the sport!!!!! I’m not afraid of criticism, being called a disruptor, or even an ASSHOLE. 😂 LFG!!!!!

Wait……..are we talking about the same Repole??? 🤔😂
Fuck Repole. Ray Paulick was right about that fucking clown. Can we please get someone at the Jockey Club who isn't subservient to McKinsey or hasn't been fooled into thinking Ingordo is some kind of enlightened individual.

Hey @RGIII, thank you so much for keeping our conversation private. 😂 You’re a BIG talent on AND off the field. We’d love to have you join us at the @TheUFL as we build something special a league FOR THE FANS. Approachable. Affordable. Accessible. You can throw for 300 yards and 4 TDs, then we can get you behind the mic as a color commentator and for a weekly UFL show. Why stop at one job??? 😂 We’re building innovative, competitive, high quality football, developing talent, creating opportunities and having some FUN doing it. The right markets. The right venues. And access that brings fans closer than ever on the field, on the sidelines, inside the locker room, and into the replay review. Let them hear it, see it, and feel it their teams during the week AND on game day. As I told you, we DEFINITELY don’t want to be a No Fun League. Let’s keep this between you and me. I promise I won’t say a word. Let’s f$&kikg GO!!! 🏈💪 What market and team would RG III be best for???

Not a bad day for @ChurchillDowns AND the entire racing industry. After yesterday’s breaking news, Churchill’s stock rose about 5% today. More importantly, horse racing got positive attention across mainstream business media, sports business outlets and social media. Horse racing is a BIG sport with an even BIGGER future. Combine professional leadership like Churchill Downs with the vision and innovation of entrepreneurs like me and so many others ready to get involved personally, professionally and financially and the potential is enormous. Sports investments have exploded over the last decade. I believe horse racing is the most undervalued asset in all of sports. This game needs new vision and new leadership. The pilgrims who came over on the Mayflower need to step aside and let it blossom!!!!! LFG!!!!! 🐎💪 Mike from Queens Commissioner

Ray the Dinosaur @raypaulick, this tribute to Jim reads like a f$&king paid advertisement for The Jockey Club. And by the way, you also say Jim is your friend. That friendship is a hell of a lot easier to understand than your assessment of his leadership. Your own article describes a shrinking sport, and somehow you turn it into a standing ovation for the guy who lead it for 20 disastrous years. Every initiative gets applause. Every failure gets a f$&king excuse. What the hell does leadership and accountability look like in your Dinosaur world??? Ray, just admit that this is a thank-you card for every dollar that Jim and the @jockeyclub Stewards may have sent your way, directly or indirectly. How much came from The Jockey Club??? Twenty years of this bullshit circus, and you’re still writing the farewell tribute. That you and the Jockey Club think these bullshit articles and paid thank you advertisements showing up are going to change the mind of the overwhelming majority to the horrific job Jim and the Jockey Club Stewards have done the last 20 years is beyond insulting. They have been beyond atrocious!!!!! But “big shoes to fill”??? Finally, something we agree on. Here’s a picture of them. 🤡 Mike From Queens

I have absolutely f$&king had it with the dishonesty, incompetence and bullshit leadership in horse racing. It has been a MONTH since I called out what I believe was a completely illegitimate horse-sale transaction and demanded that @keenelandsales, the @jockeyclub and everyone involved correct the record. The person listed as the buyer did NOT buy the horse. She was never billed. She never paid. Yet somehow, in this industry’s version of Dumb and Dumber, she is STILL listed as the buyer and the same bullshit price is STILL being published. Yesterday I named the horse Summer Memories. Equibase, owned by The Jockey Club, sends me the notification. Same buyer. Same price. Same bullshit. You seriously cannot make this circus up. If she bought the horse, show the bill. Show the payment. Show the proof. If I’m wrong, embarrass me publicly. But if I’m right, FIX THE F$&KING RECORD. This isn’t leadership. I’ve had it. 😞🤦🏻‍♂️
As my team and I prepare for the Keeneland September Sale, I have two major concerns. First, after studying these books for more than 15 years, I hope the physicals look better than the pedigrees. Outside of a few elite proven stallions and first-year and second-year sires, Books 1 and 2 are extremely top-heavy. For two decades, America has sold many of its greatest Grade 1 and Breeders’ Cup mares to Japan. Their daughters now have daughters, and Japan’s pedigrees keep getting stronger. Meanwhile, we have weakened our foundation. We have weakened our female families. We have weakened the American broodmare band, and we have hurt the breed. Big numbers at the top don’t mean the overall breed is healthy. I am not impressed with the quality or diversity of this catalog. My second concern is transparency. Last year, Hip 5, an Uncle Mo filly and full sister to Seismic Beauty, was reported sold for $900,000 after I stopped bidding around $800,000. The ticket was signed by an agent. Thirty minutes later, the consignor offered me the horse for $800,000. I offered $500,000. They declined, then called back and accepted. I own the horse. I paid $500,000. Yet one year later, Keeneland still publicly reports a $900,000 sale, even though Keeneland invoiced me for $500,000. Who was the original buyer??? Who authorized that bid??? Why did the transaction collapse immediately??? Was someone trying to push me to $950,000??? How many other reported prices differ from what was actually paid??? The agent who signed the ticket must be held accountable and explain exactly what happened. But the ultimate responsibility sits with Keeneland’s president, senior management and trustees. They knew about this. I was crystal clear that I wanted this changed ASAP. They refused to correct the public record. And let’s be honest: Keeneland is the @jockeyclub. Same leaders. Same bullshit. Three leading Jockey Club stewards, Everett Dobson, Bill Lear and Bill Farish, are also Keeneland trustees. They constantly preach transparency. It’s time to practice it. I have spent between $10 million and $20 million at this sale annually for each of the past 10 years. Buyers are investing serious money and putting their trust in Keeneland. I am demanding a full investigation, a public explanation and a corrected record. We deserve answers. Every buyer deserves transparency. What happened @keenelandsales??? Does anyone know what happened???

Pat and I had an incredible, lengthy meeting with Kentucky’s future U.S. Senator, @RepAndyBarr. I could not have left more impressed, encouraged or excited. We had a very open and honest discussion about the great game of horse racing, the great people of Kentucky who make it possible, and the importance of Kentucky maintaining its leadership position not only nationally, but potentially globally. We spoke candidly and bluntly about the serious issues plaguing our sport today from the declining foal crop, the lack of leadership and vision, HISA, CAWs, aftercare, and the need for fairness and opportunity for every participant including small breeders, small owners, small racetracks and everyday horseplayers. We also discussed the enormous potential horse racing still has if it is properly managed, properly led and prepared for the future. We left aligned on so many important issues and plan to speak and meet frequently going forward. Andy Barr won’t just be great for Kentucky and Kentucky horse racing, he will be a strong national voice for our entire industry. Between us, I think we became best friends!!!!! 😂😂🤣 The Commish

Day 3 of the Keeneland Sale is in the books. Pretty boring. No drama whatsoever. 😂😂🤣 Just another friendly battle between the Repole Good Guys and the Evil Empire!!!!! 😂 Thank you, @RealBackstretch, for telling the real stories of the real people who, when given a fair chance, make this game great. I’m a huge fan of your content. If you truly love horse racing, whether you’re a casual fan, a $2 horseplayer, a small owner, trainer or breeder, you NEED to listen to this powerful interview with Samantha. Her story touched me. It inspired me. And it reminded me exactly why I refuse to shut up, sit down or stop fighting. I’ve said it many times: I’m fighting for horse racing’s next 100 years, not to protect the same people who have controlled its last 100. This isn’t about me. My fight is for people like Samantha. If horse racing ever wants to become BIG again, it needs to start protecting the SMALL. Unfortunately, too many of our so-called leaders either don’t understand that, or simply don’t care. We need more opportunities, better programs and REAL respect for small owners, trainers, breeders, everyday horseplayers, the hardworking people this industry employs and every fan who loves this game!!!!! Without them, there is no game. Period. Thank you, Samantha. ♥️ You reminded the People’s Commissioner exactly who he is fighting for. If you’re at the sale tomorrow, please come find me. I’d be honored to meet you and say hello. The Commish
We met Samantha Kamen at Keeneland. She’s a small breeder who does the work herself, from caring for her mares to raising their foals. Talking with Samantha brought us right back to the human side of this game. Behind every horse are people who show up every day because they care. Those are the Real Players whose stories we love to tell.

We are hours away from the first hip entering the ring @keenelandsales September. Forty-eight hours ago, I disclosed that a horse I bought last year for $500,000 had first been signed for by an agent at $900,000, then somehow came back to me. That post sent shockwaves through the industry because this isn’t just about one horse or one transaction. It raises serious questions about cheating, corruption and the integrity of the entire sales process. I have demanded answers from Keeneland’s senior leadership and Keeneland’s @jockeyclub Trustees. So far, silence. If this isn’t addressed before that first hip walks into the ring today, how can I, or any buyer, bid with confidence??? Are we buying horses, or are we playing a rigged game where only certain people know the rules??? These industry leaders love preaching “transparency.” Stop preaching. Start practicing. And to every journalist covering this sport: If you don’t ask Keeneland this question before the sale begins, then what exactly are you covering, and who are you protecting??? 🚨 BREAKING NEWS 🚨 The @jockeyclub has issued a statement declaring it has absolutely no affiliation with @keenelandsales. Jockey Club Chairman Everett Dobson, Vice Chairman Bill Farish and Secretary Bill Lear confirmed there is no relationship whatsoever. Keeneland trustees Everett Dobson, Bill Farish and Bill Lear fully agreed with Everett Dobson, Bill Farish and Bill Lear. In the spirit of total transparency: absolutely no relationship. No affiliation. And, of course, no conflicts of interest. 😜 😂😂🤣

Hey Shoeless, I promise to make this a shorter and simpler post so someone of your low intelligence can understand it. 😂 If the @jockeyclub and @hisa_us stay in control and power in this industry, it doesn’t matter who owns what track, there will be no racing at Santa Anita after 2028 and no racing at Gulfstream or Monmouth after 2030. If we aren’t going to fix the game at the highest levels of leadership every horse racing participant from a degenerate gambler like yourself to a brilliant, billionaire owner like me, will be f$&ked. 😂 Also, I have made offers to buy Gulfstream Park and have inquired about another track in Florida. I would buy Gulfstream for $300 million today and close the deal by Friday. You mentioned @Nike. Over the last three years since I entered the shoe business, Nike’s market cap has decreased by 75% and @nobull has grown by 550%. Just saying… Very serious question…since I consider you a friend’s friend’s friend, last time I saw your girlfriend @stacy_nicks, she asked me to set her up with Tom Brady. What should I do??? 😂
tuesday rant: im so tired of the repole jockey club tweets. mike you don't have a seat at the table. they will never accept mike from queens. but you know who they will have to accept? mike repole owner of gulfstream park, santa anita park, and/or monmouth park. quit being cheap. quit tweeting like us broke degens. man up and CHANGE the game. i would quit my job tomorrow to run a track with you because we ALL believe in you. nobull is cool, but you will never be nike because they...just do it!

🚨BREAKING NEWS The @jockeyclub is so shady, and they must really think the rest of us are stupid. Today they put out a press release headlined around their new Stewards and new members. Then look at how they presented it. They released a photo celebrating the 10 new members of The Jockey Club. No photo of the two new Stewards. The Stewards get the power. Open the release and they quickly announce the two new Stewards, C. Steven Duncker and Joe Appelbaum, and then spend basically the rest of the release introducing and giving biographies of the new members. Congratulations to the new members. Seriously. I’m all for celebrating people joining any club. Unfortunately, your voice won’t mean much. You’ll get a nice pin, maybe some Vet PPs 😂, a couple of nice lunches and the privilege of watching the Stewards continue to run the show. Now let’s talk about the people who actually matter. WELCOME BACK, C. STEVEN DUNCKER. Mr. Retread. Duncker was already a Jockey Club Steward from 2018 until his term expired in 2022. Apparently those four years were such an overwhelming success that four years later The Jockey Club decided: You know what this industry desperately needs? Steve Duncker again. 😂😂🤣 He was also chairman of NYRA and remains on the NYRA board. Nothing says fresh thinking like recycling the same people from the same organizations over and over again. And welcome Joe Appelbaum!!!!! Former president of NYTHA. And during that time, because of that position, part of the NYRA governance structure. So somebody please explain something to me: How are these two selections philosophically any different from the same 10 pheasant hunters already sitting around the table??? Same circles. Same thinking. Same people rotating from board to board. And somehow every organization is supposedly completely independent of every other organization. 😂😂🤣 The fact that this sport keeps recycling the same old retreads with the same blue-blood, country-club mentality is exactly the problem. But what makes today’s announcement even better is what wasn’t prominently explained. There’s a name missing: Stuart Janney. In the announcement about the new Board of Stewards, you would think somebody who chaired this organization for a decade and whose family started the Jockey Club when they arrived on the Mayflower in 1620 😂, might warrant more than disappearing into thin air. By the way, where the hell is Jim Gagliano??? Jockey Club: STOP treating 99% of the participants in this business like shit. I represent the people who don’t have your power. You represent yourselves, your friends and the same small circle that has controlled this industry for far too long. The difference is that most of them don’t have the platform, financial independence or willingness to say publicly what they say privately. And many genuinely believe that if they speak out against the people controlling this sport, there will be major consequences. That’s the real problem. So this isn’t me vs. you anymore. This is about the 99% of this industry who don’t believe they can afford to be as vocal as I am. They’re on my team now. And you guys have nobody to blame for that but yourselves. So I sincerely want to thank The Jockey Club for accomplishing something I never thought possible. You have somehow made me one of the most beloved people in horse racing. 😂😂🤣 And one last thing… Expect some very big industry news today. News that could have significant implications for both The Jockey Club and their sister company @hisa_us. To the people standing with me: I love you and I have your back!!!!! Mike From Queens Commissioner.

Dear Protective Stadium, If you’re going to write me a letter, you probably shouldn’t put it behind a paywall. Another mistake on your part. 😂 Listen, you were too big for me, we broke up. Let’s move on. Metro Birmingham let’s build the future. Let’s find 100 acres and build a modern 8,000–12,000-seat outdoor stadium for the Birmingham Stallions, @bhmlegion and Birmingham Legions women’s team. And let’s make it much bigger than a stadium: restaurants, hotels, offices, residential, entertainment and real estate development, creating jobs and economic growth for the entire Birmingham area. I’ve already identified three Metro Birmingham locations that I think could be incredible. Instead of being upset with me, let’s fix the future and let’s move quickly. I’ll see everyone at the Michigan Panthers vs. Birmingham Stallions opening game in our new stadium in 2029. I’m for solutions not excuses. Where should we build it??? Who’s joining me??? 🏈⚽️🔥
It's been a couple of weeks since UFL billionaire co-owner Mike Repole unsaddled the Bham Stallions because, he said, Protective Stadium was too big. Well, Protective reached out and asked me to share its response with him. al.com/news/2026/08/johnson-…

Believe it or not there is a lot I love about horse racing!!!!! 😂 I’m still enjoying Saturday’s blessed four win day especially seeing Renegade and Irad back in the winner’s circle after coming up just a head short in the Kentucky Derby. One great thing about horse racing is that it helped build an amazing father-daughter bond with Gioia. Through this sport, every experience becomes a teaching lesson about drive, passion, hard work, patience, winning, losing, adversity, heartbreak and joy. But most importantly, it has taught Gioia resilience and determination, to never give up, to always keep going and, no matter how many times life knocks you down, to keep getting back up. 🐎❤️🙏

Today we say goodbye to Aqueduct Racetrack. As a teenager, I spent so many days there with my friends. It’s where I fell in love with horse racing and where dreaming of owning great horses first began. Years later, I was fortunate enough to win dream races there like the Demoiselle, the Remsen, the Wood Memorial, and Stay Thirsty winning the Cigar Mile (picture below). Without Aqueduct, I wouldn’t be in this game. Thank you, Aqueduct, for all the memories. 🐎❤️🙏

Welcome to the @TheUFL , Brendan Sorsby. The UFL is the league of opportunity. We created our Regional Player Initiative to keep great players closer to home, closer to their fans, and on the field. Let’s do this!!!!! Brendan Sorsby, welcome to the @UFLRenegades. Have your people call my people!!!!! 🏈💪
The NFL has informed teams that it will NOT be holding a Supplemental Draft, meaning Texas Tech QB Brendan Sorsby will not be eligible to enter the NFL in 2026. The CBA allows the league to decide whether to hold a Supplemental Draft, and this year, it won’t.

THINK BIG. DREAM BIGGER. A year ago, people said I was crazy for investing in the @TheUFL Maybe they were right. Take chances. Take risks. Bet on yourself. The biggest opportunities in life usually sound crazy at first. Congrats to the @UFLKings on becoming United Bowl Champions. Thank you to our teams, players, coaches, staff, partners, networks, and most importantly, our fans. Proud of Year 1. We'll get better in Year 2. 🏈💪

Less than 48 hours until the @TheUFL Championship Game at Audi Field. What an incredible matchup: the defending champion @UFLDefenders taking on the @UFLKings in their inaugural season. And let's not forget the halftime performance by 50 Cent. I'm excited to announce that we have fewer than 300 tickets remaining. This game is on pace to be a complete sellout. What a season it has been. Thank you to our fans, sponsors, partners, UFL employees, coaches, staff, and players for making this moment possible. And how about this, tickets are now selling on the secondary market for $200–$1,000. Incredible. 💪 Think Big, Dream Bigger. LFG!!!!! 🙏🏈💪

Tough loss today with Renegade and Powershift. Just wanted to update everyone. My 70+ wonderful family members and closest loyal friends, especially my wife, brother, and Gioia, are currently enjoying steak, lobster, expensive wine, and plenty of laughs. Meanwhile, I’m sitting here sadly by myself, mentally preparing to pay an astronomical bill around 1 AM. 🤦‍♂️ The “glamorous” life of horse racing. I need to order a big, bold red wine.🍷 Any suggestions???

As a kid from Queens, winning the Belmont Stakes was always one of my biggest dreams. I’ve been fortunate enough to win it once and finish second four times. This Saturday, I’m incredibly lucky to have two horses, Renegade and Powershift, competing in the Belmont Stakes. I’ll be thrilled if either one gets the job done, but my heart is with Renegade after his courageous runner-up finish in the Kentucky Derby and Irad Ortiz’s incredible ride. Think Big, Dream Bigger. LET’S GO WIN THE BELMONT STAKES. 🙏🏆🐎

We may not always get it right. And we are far from perfect. But I promise you that your voices are being heard. The UFL belongs to the fans, and every suggestion, idea, compliment, and criticism helps us build a better league. Keep up the suggestions coming!!!!! LFG!!!!! 🏈💪

Don, I’m sorry for the miscommunication and confusion following last night’s @BattlehawksUFL game. We at the @TheUFL certainly share responsibility, and we take ownership of what happened. We need to do better, and we will. Even after a tough loss, some of our coaches and players remained on the field to spend time with fans, sign autographs, and take photos. Unfortunately, for some reason not all of our loyal Battlehawks fans had the opportunity to share in that experience. These photos are from last night, and they reflect the kind of fan interaction we want all of our supporters to enjoy. Thank you for your support and passion for the Battlehawks. I will fine myself $10,000 too. 😂 We will always strive to be better. Huge home playoff game next week!!!! LFG!!!! 🏈💪
Here is what I expected would happen: 1) Fans congregate in front row around dome. 2) Coach and players come out to cheering. (Yes, despite the L) 3) Mic passed between a few players and coaches “thank you.” 4) Some players/coaches sign stuff, some go to the locker room.

Happy Kentucky Derby Day to all!!!!! Yesterday wasn’t our day, Zany lost the Oaks and we lost 3 others races That’s racing. Today….is another day. 7 horses in. 4 in stakes. But being here with my 80-year-old plus parents Benny the Waiter and Annie the seamstress, my wife Maria, my daughter Gioia, my brother Gerard, my family and closest friends……….. This is The Real Winners Circle. In the race of life, we’re all lucky we have one. Love and cherish those people the most. ♥️ 🙏 Everyone have a great day with your own Winner’s Circle. LFG!!!!! 🐎💪

Thank you, Dan Wolken!!!!! Two powerful articles this week and both hit exactly where this industry needs to be challenged. The first broke down the wagering mess and the impact of CAW bettors on everyday horseplayers. The second (below) dives into our 3-year fight to push for REAL, transformational change not just to grow the game, but to save it and make it relevant again. And what did many of the so called “senior leaders” of the entities that control racing do this week??? They HID. They avoided the very mainstream media that can force accountability and shine a light on the truth. We’re running toward the fire. They’re running from the fire they created!!!! Yesterday’s Commissioner “State of the Union” press conference??? A HUGE step forward in getting the message out to the mainstream. Where’s Waldo (Repole)??? LFG!!!!! 🐎💪
Mike Repole, the brash billionaire with a growing portfolio, thirsts for a fight against the horse racing establishment. The aptly-named Renegade could give him a win in the world’s biggest race. “I’m in it to change the sport.” For @yahoosports sports.yahoo.com/horse-racin…

Thank you @theTDN Writers’ Room for the open and honest discussion about the state of our industry. Even with the potential favorites in both the Kentucky Derby and Oaks with Renegade and Zany, my #1 priority is leading the charge to reverse the sad, negative, and dismal trends across every metric in this sport. I’ve been on this crusade for 3.5 years, and we’re closer than ever. Thanks to the relentless work of @PatCummingsNTA and many others, the momentum is real. The path to transformational change is there. Now it comes down to this: Will certain entities finally give up their self-serving control and open the door to real leadership… Or will we force those doors open ourselves??? No more talk. No more delays. For those who love this sport…watch, listen, and speak up. Agree or disagree??? I want to hear your thoughts.

Ok ok ok… I can’t tell my two superstars apart. 🤦‍♂️ Zany is built like a colt…and yeah the great work from the last post was actually Zany on the outside. I know I screwed that one up. 😅 Doesn’t Zany look AWESOME though??? This video here is Renegade on the outside and Powershift on the inside. They look the same and they both worked GREAT. LFG!!!!! ♥️💪🐎
Renegade had his final work this morning at Palm Beach Downs. Worked strong outside of Powershift (inside). Both Todd Pletcher and Renegade came out of it happy and sharp. Zany also put in a really solid work this morning. Both are heading to Churchill Downs tomorrow morning. We could be looking at favorites in both the Kentucky Derby and the Kentucky Oaks. Now the real question… Who do you like better??? Who you betting??? LFG!!!!! ♥️🙏
