Last week, Simons Foundation president @DavidSpergel spoke about our international partnership with the Abdus Salam International Centre for Theoretical Physics (ICTP) and its planned redevelopment for a new energy-efficient facility that will create modern spaces for research, education, events and accommodation. "We are longtime backers of the ICTP, supporting its place as a haven for physicists from around the world to gather and collaborate," he said. Around 4K scientists from more than 150 countries participate in ICTP activities each year.
