ApeChain communities are getting allocations of Mudwater packs following launch, for their own communities.
Mudwater is the new BAYC collectible card game from Yuga Labs, physical and digital, on Solana.
More info this coming week.
Mudwater is an old game played deep in the Everglades.
Instead of dice in alleys, we play Mudwater on the docks.
The game is simple, but the skill ceiling is high.
And we play for keeps.
We've just airdropped this 6551 Totem, paired to all BAYC & MAYC, enabling pack claims.

He treats all artists with the same respect, care, love, and attention. Never fails to visit you while painting to ask are you okay, do need anything, 100% present and never rushes conversation.
He went beyond for us for ApeFest.
Theres no one else like @beeple
every night leading up to apefest, beeple stayed super late, way past the point when everyone else left, so he could create more surprises and refine shit that maximized the impact of apefest for apes
whether it was robots, sculptures, prints, graphics, or logistics - he’d leave at 3am and be back in at 9am to keep pushing
over the last 20 years I’ve worked with some of the best artists in the world, but there’s no else like beeple
we were fortunate to be hosted, and have our ape world lensed by him
thank you beeps 🦍🦍🦍

ApeFest in Otherside is what happens when you give some of the most engaged community members a sneak peek, the right tools, and let them cook.
In about a week they built:
🏟️ a dome to host our stream complete with gallery walls and photo booth
🥊 an octagon nodding to the Armored MMA fight in-world
🃏 a playable Mudwater demo that dropped live with the IRL reveal
AND a bonus flying 🚗 that became relevant news just 2 days before the fest
Huge thanks @OtherGamesXYZ @Escapation @kopirax_blog @AbsoluteCinny @dinopawnz & many more for going above and beyond for this one 🫶
This weekend was a movie inside a movie.
Thanks to everyone who pulled up to catch ApeFest live in Otherside.
Huge thanks to @OtherGamesXYZ and @Escapation for building experiences that took ApeFest in Otherside to another level and @kopirax_blog for capturing the magic.

this is what it's all about: waving giant flags, dancing w your girls and robots, and arguing with your brethren over whose traits reign supreme.
every year the circle grows, and somehow it only gets tighter.

Finally got to experience ApeFest as a +1 and enjoyed every minute of it.
Had to ape into my Mudwater box and start my collection. Can’t wait to join the club officially soon

One of my highlights from ApeFest was listening to @imjameshall walk through upcoming Otherside updates firsthand at the ‘Nexus and Chill’ event.
As someone who worked in Web3 gaming for several years, I can confidently say James’s and the team's vision, though ambitious, has unparalleled upside.
I’ve spent countless hours playing WOW and RuneScape, and I can honestly say the Otherside is being built to onboard millions of mainstream players in a compelling and immersive way.
As a community member, it’s easy to succumb to a short-term ‘bag-biased’ mindset, but the bigger picture here is the accrual of long-term value across the BAYC ecosystem.
The Otherside alone has got me extremely excited, and I feel fortunate not only to have had the chance to get an early look at what’s coming, but also to hear it from James Hall himself.

ApeFest is over. Highlights:
- Beeple’s Studios is epic
- The production and merch was next level
- Mudwater pack ripping feels so satisfying
- Getting anywhere in Charleston takes exactly 19 mins, no matter where you go
- Had my first ever corndog
- Went to a Wallgreens the size of a small airport
- Drove a pickup truck
- Had Waffle House at 1am with the homies on the bed of said pickup truck
Fuck the noise, we’re still here. Back to work.

Grabbed some merch from my first time at Apefest!! It did NOT disappoint! Quick trip, so I only went to the @ClutchMarkets tailgate party and then off to @beeple studio! Met so many new people, hugged old friends, and put faces to names of people I’ve been talking to online for years!
