- eliminating mandatory parking minimums
- legalizing Accessory Dwelling Units

The disconnect here is that NYC actually HAS substantial publicly owned housing. The problem is it is in desperate need of being torn down and rebuilt and whenever anyone tries to do that the tenants and left NIMBYs team up to insist they continue to live in squalor.

Transit policy is deeply affected by the federal government and Connie Chan has spent her entire career fighting against funding public transit, car free spaces, etc. She personally fought BRT in her district! Sending her to Congress would be a disaster
