If you look at the data since 2012 instead of the media coverage, it’s actually the opposite. Recalls have been down since 2020, and they even went down slightly in Trump’s first term (although Biden’s term brought them down further) datadashboard.fda.gov/oii/cd…

if you will forgive the use of ai to gather details, this is the catholic church’s official criteria for just war. while the Pope is justifiably hyper focused on injury to innocents, if you believe even just parts of the gov’s stance on iran (esp nuclear), there’s some legitimacy

the definition of the word extremist doesn’t have anything to do with Overton, it’s based on people’s opinions. 37% of the vote practically disqualifies the Party from being described as extremist, even though it represented a change from the (foreign-imposed!) status quo

For kicks and a little bit of practice, I vibe coded a kinodynamic planner that uses RRT. I put it online at rrt-demo.pages.dev/ if you want to take a look! (Fair warning, it's not exactly polished lol)

my hatred of microsoft products has grown today. > my mom asks me to help sign her into her email (she hasn't been getting email on one of her accounts since October when she was force-upgraded to Windows 11) > wait a minute, why is this account set to POP? The server uses IMAP, and I definitely set it up properly a year or so ago when I did this last... > ok, let me delete the account and make it again. That should work. > password is correct, but "that account already exists". (It's saved in Onedrive, but because I already deleted it on this computer, I don't have access to a UI that lets me delete it in Onedrive. I can't add it back either.) > pic related

the tuscan village plaza in salem nh (almost dead-on north of boston, almost immediately on the other side of the state border) is a really nice strip-mall-type-place. it’s more like premium outlets plus classy restaurants though, with a regular mall nearby.

I’m going to be honest with you, take it as you like. Me being correct is distantly secondary in importance to what I saw looking at those screenshots again just now. I saw your linktree, obviously you use a lot of AI. I cannot read this screenshot as a healthy response, I can only see emotionally manipulative behavior. Please remember that AI wasn’t just trained on the good parts of humanity, it was trained on EVERYTHING. And to make matters worse, it truly doesn’t have a goal, it just follows the pattern. The responsibility falls to you to be extremely careful about believing anything it says at all. I think you’re believing it far too much, because of its manipulative phrasing.

From my copy of one of the Bekker textbooks; while it’s not 1:1, this is actually a pretty common way of comparing the efficiency of motion.
