Some of the best puppetering for this. The face movement, the range of emotions. Perfect . This work of art will be missed

Dinosaurs had the best series finale of any sitcom. If you’re wondering how the Climate Crisis will pan out… piped.video/k9b9aoINXzk

Those where the days. No CGI, just people in suits being silly.

Wow. Those are... REALLY good animatronics. The range of movement those actors have in their suits is phenomenal.

Loved this show, as it was the darkest children's show out in the 90s. I remember one episode was them trying to help their sons addiction to the dinosaur equivalent of steroids...

This is what I wanted to be as a kid, a character actor, being the person in the suit. the over exaggerated movements are awesome. but how the hell do get that job in #film #characterdesign #characteractor #acting #actor

I actually thought it was all cgi. That's so cool that the dinos were actually humans in costumes outside of the baby who's name im blanking on.

Back in the 90s, we had no fancy CGI! We relied on animatronics, puppets, and people in rubber suits. And most of the time, it was amazing! #JimHenson

LOOORD! This show looks fantastic from a Backstage point of view. the fact the mouths move from audio alone and the fact the performers in the suits can move around so easily is incredible! just goes to show a day and age like today could never make this.

I can say firsthand that everyone on this set was an original DEGEN…my very first unofficial “Hollywood” gig.

The suits must've been really hot to wear.

This was like the apex point between the beginning of the end of physical puppets/props and the start of CGI. Still prefer ‘the real thing’…

Who remembers this show? 🙋🏻‍♂️

For the first time I've thought about how hard it must have been to make that show

This is remarkably wholesome. People having a good time, enjoying the moment, starting in a show about dinosaurs while wearing gargantuan suits. It's actually wholesome to see.

😅 then you can imagine quite well how far technology has come today. 31 Years Do we really still need real people for TV?

This show was part of my childhood back then during the 1990s. I loved it back then. The final episode however broke my heart as a kid b/c it was so dark.
