My little talk at Toronto Tech Week 2025.
This was a new format and setting for me, I was pretty nervous about it, but I thought I would just try it out and see what I would learn.
Thank you for everything so far.
Is anyone actively using any computer or robot system to help them take out their trash? It's not that big of a deal, but I just don't want to do it anymore.
I know this won鈥檛 make any sense right now, but all this cyber security stuff, all this not knowing what does and doesn鈥檛 matter, Tommy, Robie, and I are going to put an end to all of it. We鈥檙e going to have to risk our lives, but it鈥檒l all be taken care of.
because I can do things so much faster on my computer now, the thinking behind everything feels so much more important, I find the less I use a computer, the better my work is getting.. I'll just write for hours and then eventually walk over to my computer to make something specific, this process seems so much more effective
yeah it seems one of the most effective ways to understand a system is to attempt to create a simulation of it, it forces you to break down the systems components, understand their functions and how they relate to other components of the system
sound ON!

one of the benefits of reading through a transcript like this is it forces me to face where my thinking is weak or under developed, it shows me where I might be introducing interesting ideas but I cannot progress them further because I haven't done the research or projects to rise to a higher level of understanding
