Indian Govt. is incompetent, harasses its citizens. But unlike other friction - SIR has positive effect of evicting illegal Bangladeshis. + Gyanesh conducted peaceful WB elections - voters dismissed a tyrant who enrolled BD voters. Watch 🧵:
So many illegal bangladeshis are leaving Bengal via Hakimpur checkpost of Swarupnagar in Bengal. This is after BJP government has notified 3D plan (detect, delete and deport). Even though they have Bangladeshi citizenship, they were provided with voter, aadhar and pan.

The correct retaliatory shortening of RaGa's name is not Rahul Gand, but Rahu Gandhi. He's the 'Rahu' whose economics will bring doom to whatever it rules.
One of the many reasons Karnataka is bankrupt and there's no money to fix anything, never mind @krishnabgowda song and dance sequence.

oh btw - the story below "School adoption: CM reminds pvt .. " - was about the CM asking Corporates to adopt Govt. schools. The state doesn't have money for schools either - as I have posted multiple times before.

In 2014, India made less steel than Japan. In 2025, India made more steel than the US and Japan put together. Read that again. 87 million tonnes in 2014. 165 million tonnes in 2025. Almost doubled in one decade. In the same decade, Japan fell 27%. The US fell 7%. India is now the world's #2 steel producer. Only China is ahead. And steel is not a services story / an app story. It is what a nation builds with railways, bridges, factories, ships, guns. The countries that ruled the 20th century were the countries that made the most steel. The strange part? Nobody is talking about this. Just one quiet line in a World Steel Association release. Bharat is rising. 🙏🙏 Source: World Steel Association, calendar-year crude steel production data. Graph made by me.

FULL VIDEO: Air traffic controllers warned the pilots of the Learjet that crashed in Florida today about extreme weather ahead, explicitly giving them permission to change course and avoid the storm. The pilots acknowledged the warning. They didnt change the course.

Got fable to hand-write weights of a 100k param model to recognize real versus fake legal citations. Basically one-shotted a full NN that’s better than training it

Example of -1 x -1 = +1 Same person who doesn't believe in Climate Warming, doesn't want Data Centers, thereby reducing Climate Warming.

remember that duffer liverdoc who said Yoga was no good and only Cardio works for the heart? well many Yoga postures - held continually - are Isometric exercises exactly like these. i hope his last few faithful holdouts, at least now, recognize him for the idiot he is.
Four weeks of wall squats reduced systolic blood pressure by nearly 10 points in adults with high blood pressure. Researchers then compared continuing three sessions weekly with reducing to two, one, or none for another month. Systolic pressure remained roughly 7 mmHg below starting levels in the once- and twice-weekly groups. Continuing three sessions weekly produced the greatest reduction of about 14 mmHg. In those who stopped completely, blood pressure moved back toward baseline. This fits with a previous analysis of randomized trials that identified isometric exercise, which involves holding a muscle contraction, as an effective way to lower resting blood pressure. What interests me is the practical question - how much of an exercise benefit can we preserve when we temporarily have less time? This study suggests that reducing the frequency can retain part of the benefit for up to a month.

It’s surreal seeing how empty some of our cities were back then. The paintings are of Puri, Madurai, Gwalior and Pune.

factory and salaried workers are a fast expanding pool, not fixed. wages have to be analyzed across a fixed cohort. GDP goes up because there are more workers and workers are joining from less productive (farm) jobs.
The stagnation of real wages continues apace. Even The Economist acknowledges it. But Indian policy-makers continue to ignore this alarming trend.

similar growth story for salaried workers (more affected by Covid it seems)

the turning point in real-wages rising when excess rural farm workers are finally exhausted is apparently well known as Lewis turning point. so stagnant real wages for factory workers is entirely expected initially. farm workers have to be drained fist. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lewis_…

"It's done bro" is infectious. Just finished yet-another-security-questionnaire and very much feel like telling the buyer - "It's done bro".

Compare barebones iron-frame buses in 80s - to Volvo sleepers today - massive difference. Same with cars. Trains should have improved as well - and they did world over. But almost froze in time here - becoz of ICF/IR monopoly. Appreciate sure - but a bit of Stockholm syndrome.
Vande Bharat sleeper trains are fantastic and deserve more appreciation than ever. Time to get rid of the older trains completely.
