If a fetus is a person at 6 weeks pregnant, is that when the child support starts? Is that also when you can’t deport the mother because she’s carrying a US citizen? Can I insure a 6 week fetus and collect if I miscarry? Just figuring if we’re going here we should go all in.

Another little secret: a lot of what most “developer influencers” say is fairly aspirational.
Their own companies don’t necessarily do things as smoothly as they preach to others.
This is especially true at larger companies where the culture might vary vastly between orgs/teams
In the last few years, I've talked with hundreds, if not thousands, of software developers.
What I've learned: there's a HUGE gap between what developer-influencers are writing about, versus the daily reality of most developers. BUT PEOPLE DON'T TALK ABOUT THE OTHER STUFF. 1/

I've consolidated my thoughts on tech titles:
1. "No titles" is a lie. Power dynamics always exist
2. Titles as a measure of career progress doesn't transfer. Principal at Startup often === Eng 2 at BigCo
3. Title changes !== role changes. Ignore the diff at your own peril.
