my least favorite thing in the world is making sites responsive for short screen sizes (usually macbook airs or chunky chrome tabs) so instead I created a script that automatically zooms the window out looks way better than vertically scaling content, losing whitespace, etc.

Custom ASICs and FPGAs can optimize calculations such as data compression, inference or encryption tasks, theoretically 5x faster with 10x less energy, which is a breakthrough. We'd love to fund LLM-based systems to build these, and with OpenAI O1 it's an ideal time to do it

Really cool application of latest UNALIGNED podcast guest @PlainsightAI. They count sheep automatically at the entrance of a farm gate. Links below.
Unaligned #13: Computer vision with @PlainsightAI CEO @KitMerker Plainsight AI has a unique way to deliver computer vision products. They have visual "filters" that look for specific things in camera footage. For instance, counting sheep on a gate, or looking for defects in a car part on the assembly line.

Asked @PirateSoftware about finding premade game assets vs making them yourself, and he decided to share the website kenney.nl with his stream. It crashed 15 seconds later. Sorry about that, @KenneyNL!

Now that CS2 is released, I can finally offer a DEEP DIVE into the design process of Overpass way back in the day. I needed some handles for this electrical thing, but being new at work I didn't want to bother anyone, so I used a pot. This concludes the design deep dive.
