Commissioner
@HenMackIII joined Labor Secretary
@Sonderling47 and a panel of Florida employers, legislators, and educators to tout Florida’s K–20 system, a system that treats skills, credentials, and work-based learning as the point of the enterprise—not an afterthought to seat time.
That means scaling apprenticeships, connecting colleges and career and technical education to employer demand, and measuring success by whether people get good jobs and keep them.
Federal and state systems work best when they pull in the same direction. Secretary Sonderling’s confirmation gives us a clear partner in that work. Florida is ready.
