On Friday, TikTok permanently suspended the film's account, not just its advertising. Bleecker Street was told the suspension is permanent. That’s on top of the platforms refusing the ads in September.

A brief review of recent technical “errors” at Meta:
1. Restricting the Facebook pages of Brazilian president Lula who is in a runoff election against a Trump-favored candidate
2. Shutting down the pages of Albanians protesting Jared Kushner’s plans to build a luxury resort in the country
3. Rejecting ads for a documentary critical of Elon Musk
4. Shutting down the No Kings instagram page in the middle of a major anti-Trump protest

The Stars have fallen.
We suspected this was the reason Ukraine’s access to Starshield was restricted. But to see it from senior officials in this reporting is still utterly unconscionable.
Let’s be absolutely clear about what this means. The Trump Administration deliberately restricted technology Ukraine relies on to intercept Russian drones and ballistic missiles. It made it harder for Ukraine to defend itself and easier for Russia to carry out its deadly attacks against Ukrainian civilians.
They knew exactly what was at stake. They knew that more Russian drones and missiles would get through, allowing Russia to kill even more Ukrainians. And yet they went ahead anyway.
This is a deliberate weaking of Ukraine’s defenses that only Russia will benefit from. It is a betrayal of our ally that this Administration cannot wash its hands of.
The American people deserve to know who made this decision, why they made it, and how they can possibly justify putting more innocent Ukrainian lives in the crosshairs of Putin’s war machine.

Now clear that Putin's diesel deal was merely a Russian reflexive control operation to con Trump into protecting Russia's oil industry, Russia is only sending 40,000 tons of diesel, or roughly 7% of one day of America's 550,000 ton daily consumption. Further, in the time it takes for this Russian ship to make its 3 week journey to the US, the US will have EXPORTED 4.4 million metric tons.
Putin needed air defense, so Trump was given an excuse to tell the American electorate that protecting Russia's oil industry is actually protecting the US.
US gets nothing, Trump then attacks Ukraine, Ukraine loses its ability to destroy the one thing that makes Putin's war possible. Europe gets another decade of war.
Typical Russian Reflexive control operation and Trump is the ultimate moron mark.

The lesson to be learned from this is that if the US imposes sanctions on you, you should detain as many US nationals as possible on bogus charges, then gradually release them in exchange for sanctions relief or other concessions. Rinse and repeat.
