I want Britain’s energy wealth to spark a new wave of clean power.
Our decision to approve Jackdaw alongside the new Energy Wealth Fund means we invest in green transition and benefit from our existing natural resources.
NEW: Energy Secretary Miatta Fahnbulleh has confirmed homegrown gas production at Jackdaw will go ahead.
In the middle of an energy crisis, homegrown gas has a role to play in our energy security as we transition to net zero.
