My kids are 6 weeks into @Alphaschool Park City and my primary takeaway so far is I'm mostly jealous this didn't exist when I was a kid.

Sometimes I can't believe the lives I get to reach. I gave a talk at a space camp this summer, and the kids made sure to let me know how much my presentation had meant. Came home to artwork & a 3D printed astronaut-mermaid - thanks @Alphaschool ! 🧜🏽‍♀️🚀👩🏽‍🚀✨️

I introduced a bunch of the @alpha_founders kids to my colleague to work for us. He just called me, “Who are these kids? These are some of the most impressive kids I’ve ever met.” Going to be such a premium for going to this school.

The kids at Alpha’s Founders School are doing amazing things.
Every student now has the best math tutor in the world in their inventory. Introducing Agathon reimagined. After a year of hard work, training, building, and tweaking- I finally was able to teach AI to write math, solve and be the best it can be! Here's a demo!

Our students are on break next week while staff analyzes each student’s data to ensure we’ve delivered all three of our commitments to every student. The students’ response: “Can we just come to school anyway?”

She just found out that she has no school all of next week and she’s sad. They truly mean it when they say kids will prefer going to @Alphaschool than taking vacations.

Yesterday at Alpha Showcase, my “shy” 7 year old spoke in front of 180 adults, then demonstrated what she learned in her BJJ workshop in this first session of @AlphaSchool. If you told past me that she’d be acing public speaking in just a few weeks, I wouldn’t believe you.

Me: “What are paint colors for?” Daughter: “My school sends us a survey to ask if we have any suggestions to make it better. I said I wish we had a quiet area for testing, and recommended a quiet booth.” Me: “So they’re having someone build a quiet booth?” Daughter: “No, they gave us wood and tools and said they’d help us. It took a while to finish framing it and the walls, they had a handyman do the door though. We still need to finish the roof, interior, and paint.”

This wild story is pretty normal for Alpha students actually. 😂 Congrats @sdivakarrcf on being an absolute legend and the superstar of this T2P.
Last week, I somehow ended up on the phone with Jensen Huang. I cold-called him expecting him not to pick up. He didn’t. Then he called me back. His number came up as anonymous, so I had no idea who I was speaking to. “This is Jensen.” “Jensen Huang?” “Yes.” “From NVIDIA?” “Yes.” I spoke with him for a few minutes, and even in that short conversation, I learned a lot. Still kind of crazy that a random cold call turned into a conversation with the founder and CEO of NVIDIA. @JensenHuang, thank you for calling back and for taking the time to speak with me. @nateliason @alpha_founders @Alphaschool

This is what learning looks like at Alpha School South Bay LA. My 7th grade daughter started off with a 3rd grade reading test to start off school. Passed (90%+). Then passed 4th. But she must have had a gap at 5th grade (tested at 80%). So she spent 6 days catching up and filling gaps, and then passed 5th. Passed 6th the next day. Now she’s working on 7th grade reading. It wouldn’t surprise me if she gets up to 8th or 9th in reading this year. That said, she’s still way behind in the other subjects. Our supposedly blue ribbon public schools failed us. Opening and progress this year: Math: 4th Fast Math: 3rd / TBD - she has passed every level so far Reading: 5th -> 7th Language: 4th -> 5th Vocabulary: 4th -> 6th Science: 3rd -> 4th

What does a day at Alpha actually feel like? We invited parents to step into their students’ shoes and experience it for themselves.
We spent hours tonight @Alphaschool walking through a day in the life of our kids. The number of parents getting humbled as they tried to solve workshop challenges or complete academic lessons was impressive.

This weekend, Alpha and Founders School begin a series of 50+ Weekend events nationwide through the rest of 2026. Themes span the entrepreneurial stack: launching businesses and earning a first dollar, shipping apps to the App Store, creating video games people play, robotics and hard-tech intros, YouTube and other creator tracks. Pathways that turn building into something real. Founders School exists to help millions of students develop entrepreneurial spirit and the capability to create value through business while pursuing what makes them come alive. We’re starting with a few thousand over the next couple of months. First up: Founders Weekend in 10 cities, Saturday and Sunday. Can't wait to stop by Austin and Miami this weekend to hang with the coolest young founders.

We believe kids should love school. Loving school doesn’t mean making it easy. Kids actually love being challenged and doing hard things.

We believe in partnering with parents. That means equipping them with accurate, timely data about their child’s academic progress.

The Alpha dashboard was mind blowing during our daughter’s recent alpha summer week. Truly the best ed tech backend tracking system I have ever come across. Easy, intuitive and crystal clear for tracking progress. A+++++

They also offer a GT virtual school, which opened this fall. My kid is enrolled and loves it. We were in the spring pilot and that experience convinced us to switch from his old school. anywhere.gt.school/.

Huge fan, my kids have transformed
I’m an @AlphaSchoolATX parent. Earlier this year, my son was actually upset because a snow day meant he couldn’t go to school. I had to ask @jliemandt, "What have you done to him?" That question opened up a much bigger one. Austin’s experimental schools are pulling in families from across the country, and that talent gravity is reshaping the city’s innovation ecosystem faster than any corporate relocation. Joe built Trilogy and recruited 2,000 Ivy League kids to Austin in the ’90s. Now at Alpha, he sees this as the higher-leverage version of the same play. 30% of some campuses are families who moved here for schools that do not exist anywhere else. This one hits close to home for me. Both because I’m a parent inside the experiment and because it hints at something bigger happening in Austin. Just moved my daughter to Alpha School. Personalized AI-driven academics delivered in 2 hours per day, leaving the rest of the afternoon for life skills. We’re a few weeks in and she’s already a different kid.
