𝑺𝒉𝒖𝒓𝒖𝑲𝒂𝒓 𝒊𝒔 𝒐𝒖𝒓 𝒂𝒕𝒕𝒆𝒎𝒑𝒕 𝒕𝒐 𝒄𝒉𝒂𝒏𝒈𝒆 𝒕𝒉𝒂𝒕.” - @SharmaShradha When I met the founders of Attox Research Laboratories, a deep-tech startup from Erode, at the Aakam360 Startup Summit held at Sankagiri, Salem, it immediately brought back what Shradha Sharma, Founder & CEO of YourStory, said at the launch of #ShuruKar under The Bharat Project. Attox Founded by Suganth Murugaraj, K.K. Senthil Kumar and Clement D, is building Bactolizer, a rapid antibiotic sensitivity testing device that aims to help doctors identify which antibiotics are effective against bacterial infections and determine the appropriate dosage. The team is working on innovations that aim to make disease detection faster and more accessible, an area where technology can make a significant difference to patient outcomes and save lives. What impressed me was the ambition of this young founding team to build world-class healthcare technology from a Tier-3 city in Tamil Nadu, with the potential to address challenges far beyond India. After meeting them, I encouraged the founders to apply for YourStory Media's #Tech30, our annual list recognizing, India's most promising emerging startups. After a rigorous evaluation process, Attox Research Laboratories made it to the final 30! And honestly, I was as happy as the founders themselves 😊 Having spent years telling the stories of entrepreneurs and innovators, I know how much talent exists beyond the metros. Sometimes, when founders from smaller towns make it to the national stage, their wins feel deeply personal. This was one such moment for me. As Shradha Sharma beautifully highlighted during TechSparks, 'deep-tech startups are the true heroes propelling India to its next heights.' Healthcare, in particular, needs more homegrown deep-tech innovation, and the work this young team is doing is tremendous. Building deep-tech solutions from a smaller city and aspiring to solve global healthcare challenges is no small feat. It takes vision, scientific rigour, perseverance and the courage to think beyond geographical boundaries. I am delighted that Attox Research Laboratories has received this recognition and look forward to watching the team grow, innovate and make its mark in the healthcare space. Here's to many more entrepreneurs from smaller towns who dare to dream big, build meaningful solutions and change the face of our country! #DeeptechStartups #Shurukar #Tech30 #TechSparks2026 #YourStory #innovation #bharatproject

ShuruKar. 🙏

At #TechSparks2026, @aeos_official Founder and CEO @waiting4_asi joined YourStory Founder and CEO @SharmaShradha for a fireside chat on personal branding, virality and navigating change in the age of AI. Mayya shared how facing online backlash helped him become more confident in expressing his views, emphasising that creators need the courage to stand apart and embrace authenticity. He also highlighted the importance of reinvention, arguing that founders must be willing to pivot as technology, platforms and audience expectations evolve. On virality, his advice was simple: understand what people care about and find new ways to connect with it. What if your first customer was the GOVERNMENT? With - No tenders. No complicated requirements. You have a solution for dirty air, garbage on our streets, pollution or a problem that millions of Indians face. You don’t have to knock on a hundred doors. The government could be your first customer. Minister @PriyankKharge said this at TechSparks. Think about what this could mean for a young innovator in a small town with a big idea. Solve a real problem. Get the government to back your solution. Take it to millions of people. Imagine the possibilities if we made this happen at scale. Now, THAT would be a game changer. #TechSparks

Fun Friday update: NextDoor.Company was selected in the top 30 vibe-coded products by @YourStoryCo that showed real adoption and growth 😎 And this couldn't have come at a better time as I completed 1 year anniversary of jumping ship from being a employee to a founder & starting NextDoor.Company last year. So far, the journey has been surreal. I come from a middle class family and no one in the family has ever tried running a proper business. And we are big on being risk averse, as most Indians are. But thanks to working closely with founders & entrepreneurs as a designer for the last 15+ years that I was able learn & dare. This is my first attempt at running my own business, all solo and without any external help. And I have been able to make NextDoor.Company a very profitable business that runs my lifestyle today. A few numbers to highlight: - Today, NDC has about 450+ top tier startups mapped across the globe, with the right amount of information to help job-seekers in their job discovery - 25,000+ jobs mapped across most sought after departments like Engineering, Design, Product, Sales, Customer support, & many more - 70k+ sign ups on the platform from job seekers tired of the existing job discovery landscape - Hundreds of users have found jobs at startups they had never heard of, and the testimonials on the landing page are a testament to it - 110k+ jobs viewed by users in total in the last 6 months So in a nutshell, it's been a great first year. I am now doubling down on the talent space and coming up with my second product, a CV one. The early reviews are already fulfilling and shows stickiness for adoption. Will be opening the CV product to the wider public in coming weeks. All this, running solo, couldn't have happened without the advancement in AI, so kind of bullish in the "Bootstrapped Solopreneurs 2.0" era. Thank you @YourStoryCo for highlighting bootstrapped solo-founders, as opposed to only VC backed founders getting all the media. Thank you @SharmaShradha & @punjabilaveena ♥️ And thank you @1997harkirat for recommending to apply & cheering me on 🫡

For 17 years, I’ve watched young Indians walk into TechSparks with nothing but an idea and the courage to chase it. And every year, they make me believe in India a little more. I often feel we underestimate what this country is capable of. Then I meet these young founders, hear their stories, and see what they’re building. India’s future looks exciting because of them. And honestly, I can’t wait to see what they do next. #techsparks

Joined a fireside chat with @SharmaShradha at the 17th edition of @YourStoryCo’s TechSparks to discuss Karnataka’s new tech-state playbook. Spoke about how Karnataka is helping shape the new tech order, backed by a strong foundation built over decades across skills, research, Centres of Excellence, patient capital through programmes like ELEVATE and progressive policy support. The next phase is to actively connect innovation to markets through programmes like Government First, where startups can find their first customer in government and our Global Innovation Alliance, which opens pathways to global ecosystems. The new tech order we are building is one where frontier technology is built, scaled, tested on real public problems and deployed responsibly from Karnataka to the world.

#Shurukar #YuwaBihar #BiharToBharat #Entrepreneurship

@SharmaShradha @YourStoryCo #ShuruKar #StartupIndia #Bihar #TheBharatProject #YourStory

Bihar doesn't lack talent. Bihar deserves more opportunities. ❤️ Every story of progress reminds us of the immense potential our state holds and the dreams waiting to take flight. The goal isn't just to see Biharis succeed across the world. It's to build a Bihar where our people can find opportunities, build businesses, create jobs, and shape a better future right here at home. One day, the children of Bihar should leave home to explore the world, not because they have no choice but to leave. That is the Bihar worth dreaming of. ❤️🙏
See you tomorrow. ❤️#Bihar

Kya kar sakte hain? What good are a million dreams if we don’t do enough to help them come true? Yesterday, I met specially abled children at a school in Patna. The dreams in their eyes and their desire to do something big in life truly moved me. Many asked for computers for their school. I promised to arrange them from my own side. But we can do so much more. If you have an idea, a technology or a solution that can make their lives better, please reach out. Let’s work together to turn their dreams into reality. See you tomorrow at 10 AM at Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Science City, Patna. ❤️ #ShuruKar

Bihar doesn’t lack talent, ideas or courage. What we need is more people like Prashant who choose to solve problems instead of accepting them as destiny. I want to see hundreds of Prashants emerge from every district of Bihar — building, innovating and creating solutions for their communities. The future of Bihar will not be built by waiting for someone else. It will be built by people who say: “Why not me?” Let’s support them, believe in them and give their ideas a chance. The next big solution from Bihar could be closer than we think. ❤️
Every year, Bihar floods. Every year, we witness the same devastation, the same loss, and the same helplessness. But for how long? How long will we continue to accept this as our destiny? Meet Prashant. Instead of accepting floods as an inevitable part of life in Bihar, he has developed an innovative solution to help communities live more safely with them. His idea deserves more than recognition. It deserves the opportunity to reach communities across Bihar. I stand with Prashant. But people like him should not have to fight these battles alone. We need to come together to ensure that promising ideas get the support they deserve. And I don't want just one Prashant. I want hundreds of Prashants emerging from every district of Bihar. People who understand the challenges of their communities, dare to think differently, and have the courage to build solutions. If you have an idea to address flooding, or any other challenge facing Bihar, write to me. Through ShuruKar, we want to help you turn that idea into action. As someone who comes from Bihar, I believe that the future of our state is not someone else's responsibility. It belongs to all of us. I don't want Bihar to be known only for the problems it faces. I want it to be known for the people who refuse to give up on solving them. And somewhere in Bihar, the next Prashant is already working on an idea that could change thousands of lives. We need to find them. We need to believe in them. We need to back them. See you on 10th October in Patna. ❤️
